Microsoft introduced their new operating system called Windows Vista to replace Windows XP in late 2006.  The Vista system has created many problems for computer users.  The most significant is that many of the computer programs you own may no longer run on the new Vista system.  If you must buy or replace an XP computer Vista may be your only choice.  So, you may find yourself stranded without your old software program that worked fine on Windows XP, but does not work at all with Windows Vista!

The Assistant is fully compatible with Vista since it is a true Windows based program.  This was one of our key design criteria with our first release of The Assistant way back in 1996.  Since that time Windows systems have come and gone but the Assistant has always been compatible.  We expect to keep it that way.
