NAACP ATTACKS
UTAH
Is
This Really The NAACP?
Or Perhaps
Is It The CRL Up To
Their Standard "Playbook" Tactics?
Read On,
Then You Be The Judge.

This recent report (here
or here)
talks about how the NAACP plans to target
payday lending in Utah. Now, Utah is a
state with a one percent black population.
Why would they do this? We think we know
the answer. The Center for Responsible
Lending (CRL) connections are at work again.
Click on the picture at the right and see for
yourself how the CRL continues to use their
incredible reach and connections to leverage
their power. If you doubt this,
see what the industry leaders in Ohio had to say
about CRL's tactics.
Then read the
unprecedented series in the Anniston Star that was launched against the industry in
Alabama. Notice the biblical references
and notice the incredible number of quotes from
the CRL. Then notice how they then connect
to the local adversary group, Alabama Arise.
Do you see a pattern?
Finally, you may want to print the "Quick cash
loans" article below that appeared recently in
the
Greenville, MS based Delta Democrat
Times. Click on the picture to see and
print the full article. Read the article
and note the biblical based similarities with
the Anniston Star series. Then read on
to see the numerous quotes from the CRL and the
connections to their local advocacy group, The
Mississippi Center
for Justice. Do you think this is all just
a coincidence? Okay.
Our industry is under unprecedented
attacks by an incredible adversary -- the CRL.
They are different. They are strong, they
are smart and they are totally focused on
destroying our industry. They have also
been incredibly successful so far.
The CRL works on all fronts to win. That
includes the press, the legislature and local
adversarial groups. Our industry is
fighting the wrong battles in the wrong places
and we are loosing. We cannot continue to
fight just with our lobbyist as we have for the
last ten years. The battle has moved on to
other fronts and we must move now. Of
course, we can always continue to ignore it as many are doing
and it will all go away. It just may not
go away as we might hope and expect!
If you don't believe any of this can you say
Ohio, Georgia, North Carolina, Washington D.C.,
Virginia, Arkansas, Oregon and a whole host of
others?
