The
FTC has promulgated a new Information Security/Safeguards Rule
with a final effective date of December 9, 2022.
As a Borrow Smart Compliance policy manual client this page will
allow you to download the new policy
document.
PLEASE NOTE:
The document you download provides your recommended policy for
complying with this new rule. As you will see, the policy is
wide-ranging and has many elements that will likely require
updates and changes for your company. We will hold webinar
meetings soon to discuss questions and issues you may have about
implementation of this policy within your company.

Depending on your browser, this will either download a Word document to your download folder
or display the Word document. If the Word document content
is displayed, be sure and click the download button..
The document is marked-up with the changes from the prior
document, which was included in your Borrow Smart Compliance
policy manual.
If you wish to remove and incorporate the mark-ups into a
clean document, use the Review function in Word to accept
the changes. Mark-ups allow you to see the changes from the
previous version.
